Benson & Winch is an Executive Search & Interim Management (project sourcing) company working on an international scope across a number of sectors such as Life Sciences and Industrial Technology.
We are currently looking to hire a Business Manager (NL/FR/ENG) who is a real entrepreneur and sales hunter.
You already have a previous experience in Recruitment and/or project sourcing. You like to have a 360° position (hunting, farming and people management)
The overall objectives of this function are to identify & implement new business opportunities together as building a new local team. Sales are part of your genes.
• Set-up the business strategy and represent Benson & Winch on the overall Belgium market together with the Managing Partner
• As a strong business developer you identify & follow up new business opportunities and setting up meetings with potential new Clients.
• Increase Benson & Winch business (in terms of turnover & gross margin) across two main activities: Interim Management (Consultants, Contractors) and Recruitment
• Develop pricing and business development strategies in collaboration with and under the management of the Managing Director
• Manage an internal team of Recruitment Consultants
• Develop and submit proposals and responses to RFQs (request for quotation) and RFPs (request for prices) issued by prospective Clients after obtaining pricing and specification approval from Benson & Winch’s Management as appropriate
• Meet regularly with (new) Clients to assess level of satisfaction with services and to develop a strong list of referrals
• Represent, maintain and develop a respectful culture, maintaining the values and fair reputation of Benson & Winch within the market and with all its staff, customers, suppliers, partners and regulatory/official bodies
• Be able to manage and maintain accurate and accessible tailored documentation i.e. presentations / proposals
• Join related conferences and symposiums that will extend the reach of the business in exploring partnerships & new Businesses that will improve profitability
What do you have ?
• A real entrepreneur mind-set
• University or bachelor degree with a proven and strong experience in Sales and Business Development ideally in Staffing services
• Trilingual Dutch/Franch/English
• Strong analytical, organizational & leadership skills
• Outstanding client management skills combined with the ability to keep promises
• Confident negotiator. You can easily “open doors” and “close a deal”
• Excellent project and time management skills with the ability to cope with competing demands/offers and to prioritize tasks
• Hands on problem-solving. You are able to generate ideas, solutions and strategies and make a real difference to our business
• A positive attitude dealing with people, keen to work as part of a small, dynamic and international team in a fast-paced environment
